Celebrating a late Valentine's Day...get inspired!

Since Valentine's Day fell on a weekday, it gives people carte blanche to celebrate that day, the weekend before, or the weekend after. If you are celebrating later this weekend then you may just need a little Valentine’s day inspiration. Here are ways that a I dressed up some gifts by using my clip art and hand colored printouts of my digi stamps to decorate a gift bag & make a homemade coupon...

For card ideas for guys, try a collage design with scrapbook elements...

Digi stamps give you lots of versatility. Print them and color them to coordinate with the papers and cardstock you have on hand. Then create great cards like these (made with my What a Hoot set).

This shows inside and outside views of the card...

Don’t be afraid to mix traditional and digi stamps together along with your favorite embellishments!

And now that Valentine’s Day is over, don't let the artwork from this digi stamp go to waste. It isn't just for Valentine’s Day. Use it for making cute get well messages, birthday greetings, and thank you cards, just like this...

Whooooo knows where your creativity may lead you.
Be inspired to live life creatively!

What do Christmas, a reindeer, surfing & a mermaid have in common?

The answer is my Holideer Surfer digi stamp! Here are a few creations made using printed and handcolored images of this beachy themed Christmas digital stamp...

An oversized card
(handcolored with markers and blender pen/layored on embossed CS)

A cheery standard greeting card
(handcolored with markers/color blocking with patterned paper substituted
and a decorative border strip added to uneven fold)

A fun gift certificate/special note or gift card holder
(I used metallic gel pens on this one!)

Want to know one huge plus of working with digital stamps?
You can have it at exactly the right size needed...all you have to do is scale it and print it, then combine it with a custom verse you set up on your computer. Now that brings holiday cheer to crafting!

Father's Day Inspiration & Sale!

In case you need to whip out a last minute card, I am sharing 2 Father's Day cards (part of my Project 365 creations) created with a verse from my newly released Masculine Verses digi stamp & brush set and a FREE download Lighthouse digi stamp in my shop at www.Mygrafico.com. I am working on doing some tutorials or videos in the near future to show just how to use digi stamps.

These cards show two different ways to work with b&w printouts of digi stamps. The first card combines the verse with the stamp which is printed out and matted onto patterned and solid CS. The second shows how you can dress up a b&w stamp simply by sponging on some soft colors. The verse is printed separately, matted with buttons, brad and ribbon to embellish.

Hey, dad's don't just get to celebrate on Father's Day, crafters have a reason too with the 40% one day sale going on at mygrafico.com. Check it out. Ends at midnight on the 19th!
