Who Skipped Fall?

Let me start by saying, “where did fall go?” Here in Florida we went straight from the beach to bundling up under blankets when it switched from high 80's to a low of 46 this morning.
Then you have my home town Phillies trying to finish off the World Series, but no, we have to have sleet and a day of snow to delay game 5.
I thought it would be pretty appropriate to post this layout I did for Glue Arts design team featuring my girlies when we lived in Kansas and got to see those gorgeous "Signs of Fall". If you haven't tried out the new Glue Glider Pro adhesive, it is great. First I fell in love with the Glue Glider Max while working on albums and layouts, but this smaller version is really great!
I also used their new Wall Art Adhesive to apply the patterned papers to the chipboard letters for the titles. Signing off to cheer on the Phillies and wait for some true signs of Fall to return.

Homecoming & Reasons to Shake Your Groove Thing!

O.K. October has been a super busy month for us. Ashley went to 2 homecomings, ended her JV volleyball season with a team win, and of course, our extended weekend visit to Philly for my parent's 50th Anniversary, Dan's birthday (also Oct. 18th), my Scrap & Stamp Garage Sale, the annual church Carnival at Holy Name of Jesus, cheering on my old hometown Phillies in the World Series {Hope they seal the deal tonight!}...Whew! So many reasons to celebrate and put on a happy face, and the month is not over yet! That is why I thought it would be fun to post these cards I made using the Olivia & Pals clear stamps from Sassafras along with some Inque Boutique and Stampin’ Up! stamps. I made a couple variations as fun Birthday cards. Here is a fun tip: I did 2 accordian fold strips to pop up the owl which allows him to “shake his groove thing” on the front of the card. Here are some of the family October highlights in photos..
